My personal summary

Identifying the Real-Life Mona Lisa

http://www.thedailybeast.com/newsweek/2013/08/16/identifying-the-real-life-mona-lisa.html

Deep below the ruins of the Sant' Orsola convent in Floence, the skeletal remains of eight women is buried. One of the skeletons is very likely that of Lisa Gherardini del Giocondo, believed to be Leonardo da Vinci's model for his famous painting of Mona Lisa.
In order to find out which of the ancient bones are hers, archeologists led by Silvano Vinceti started to investigate. The most likely remains were identified, and they could get an answer that the youngest one was her by using her husband and her son's DNA.
And then,Vinceti started to challenge the virtual reconstruction of Mona Lisa's face from the skeleton. The reconstruction will not answer all the question about her,but it will eliminate some theories by art historians about just what inspired her subtle expression.

A Special Day

My first time to communicate with foreign people in English

When I was 16 years old,I went to the Nether Lands for sightseeing and play soccer. Then I first communicated with

foreign people in English. My friends and I went to watch a soccer game at a studium. At the studium,a boy talked to me.

He asked me where I came from, who we are and so on. It is a little difficult for me to understand what he said because of

my poor English ability, but I managed to understand and replied to his question. It was not a long conversation, but I

enjoyed it very much. That was the first time for me to recognize the pleasure to communicate with foreign people in

English. Since then,I have studied English more hardly than I had done. Now,I want to see and talk with him again. I will

never forget that day.

Introduction

Hello. My name is Keisuke Oikawa. I'm from Japan. I have a younger brother,Naoki. He is taller than me. In my free

time,I like shopping clothes. I major in International Relations at my university,so I need to learn English and thought

that living in the USA is the best way to learn English. That's why I came to ASU. However,I stay here for a month,so it's

too short. I think the most interesting my characteristic is that I always look sleepy .
